Strengths

> Reads the play very well across half back

> Good work ethic in both directions

> Decent-good LF kick (with a right to get him out of trouble) with decent accuracy/weighting/reliability and capable of good depth – needs more power which he should get when he adds strength

Weaknesses

> Very skinny/slender build/frame and lacks strength (balance seems OK) – needs about 10-15kg to be a decent AFL playing weight

Other

> Capable of making very good decisions with but needs to improve consistency under pressure - mostly with his hands

> Decent all-round athletic ability – decent pace (can carry the ball and has some line-breaking ability) and evasiveness and seems to have a good running capacity

> Sound spoiling ability – has reach advantage for his height

> Played all 5 U18 Championships games – 14.6Dpg, 2.6Mpg and 0.4Gpg

Overall

McMillan-Pittard is a good half back prospect. At best he could be a very sound, hard working AFL

rebounding defender/wing and a top 150 AFL player. It seems like he will go a fair bit earlier than initially expected – possibly in the vicinity of late first round even.
