Strengths

> Very versatile – able to play most non key positions to a good degree – a lead up HFF role suits him best IMO

> Good all-round athleticsm – decent –good pace off the mark (but only reasonable-decent over distance - is capable of carrying the ball with some effect), very good leap, lateral movement and good running capacity

> Very good body on body strength and seems mentally tough/high pain tolerance (recall him copping a very big bump vs VC and was up almost immediately)

> Very good ball winning ability particularly excellent in contested situations at extracting the footy

> Very strong OH grab for his size – clean hands, uses his body very well in 1-1 situations and capable of taking pack marks too

> Good-very good intensity, competitiveness and attack on the football

> Good all-round decision maker with good-very good vision in traffic

> Good user by hand with good speed of hands and use of power

> Decent-good work-rate and ethic in both directions – presents very well on the lead, very good defensive pressure, strong tackling ability and does the 1%ers consistently

Weaknesses

No standout concerns

Other

> He does most things well, but I don’t think he has a potentially elite ability, whilst he looked good

> Clean hands without being spectacular hands

> Played his roles very well at U18 Championships level he didn’t have any standout game(s) where he had a large impact – 13dpg, 4mpg and 1.4gpg playing mostly as a HFF

> I think there may be some that question what role is he capable of holding down at AFL (i.e. jack of all trades master of none), not that it is a concern of mine.

> Unusual but effective kicking style and a decent kick overall – weights his passes quite well over the short-medium range and has OK depth – high ball drop reduces reliability somewhat - doesn’t use his left often (one sided?)

> Brother of Kelvin Moore (Richmond)

Overall

Moore is a very good hardworking medium utility option has a well rounded game. He should at least be a very serviceable team player and I think at best he can be a top 100 AFL player when he matures. I see his value as a late 1st round selection.
