Jordan Lisle (Oakleigh Chargers/Vic Metro) - Draft Profile

Height: 195.1cm
Weight: 92.8kg
Preferred foot: Right
Playing Style: Inside marking KPU

Potential: 6-7.5/10

Strengths

> Strongly built and uses his body well in contest to work around his opponents – good bodywork

> Hits the footy hard

> Strong aerially – clean, strong pair of hands and a decent spoiler when he’s in position – good pack grab

> Good vision and handballing in traffic

Weaknesses

> Poor recovery

> Has very little athleticism – pace is so-so, poor endurance and very poor agility – opponents slip away laterally from him very easily and beat him to the footy a lot on the lead – very straight lined – can’t create as much as he should be – his skinfolds turned up very poor so it would suggest there’s some scope to improve

> Lacks mobility

Other

> Kicking is average for a KPP –RF dominant - OK control, can get good distance, although trajectory is generally quite high - some of his more attacking kicks can have good hurt factor, but the large majority don’t pose a threat

Overall

Lisle seems quite highly rated by most so will probably go much earlier than I expect, but personally I wouldn’t draft him in the national draft – I think he has too many areas that need improving and doesn’t have much upside to be more than average. At best I see him being a solid best XXII CHB/CHF utility (he’d get exposed on the last line as a defender and doesn’t have enough pace to play out of the square) but he will only get there if his athleticism is significantly improved – particularly his agility – I see this as fairly low probability.
