Strengths: Good smarts (makes good position, knows when to and can peel off his man effectively), outstanding running capacity, dual sided
Weaknesses: Pace off the mark is poor, slim and lack strength
Other: Sound by foot (but lacks power), well composed and makes sound decisions, OK leap and evasiveness, has been in the TAC system for the past 2 years and wasn’t selected for VC U18 squad, not sure what AFL role he fits into (would prefer someone quicker/stronger for a negating defender, someone with more hurt factor for a rebounding defender role)?
Overall: Roberton is a neat tall defensive player. He has some good qualities and I don’t mind him as a prospect and expect him to look OK at AFL, but not sure where he fits in, in the bigger picture. It seems like he’ll get drafted in the middle rounds.
